YOGA

I began practicing yoga during my graduate studies in 2009 as a way to manage academic stress and cultivate a greater sense of balance and connection within the body and mind. I completed my 200 hour training at Sacred Thread in Atlanta, Georgia where I deepened my love for yoga and its direct channel to the spiritual realm. I seek to share inspiration through asana, mantra, music, meditation and breath. I love teaching bhakti flows that blend creative and graceful movement with alignment and attention to detail. My training continued at the Esalen Institute, the Kripalu Center for Yoga and the Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja California Sur, Mexico where I completed my 300 hour training.

My background as a mental health counselor serves as a support in assisting others in cultivating a greater sense of self-compassion and self-love through the joyful and sacred practice of yoga. My relationship with yoga is one of reverence, patience, openness and humility. An eternal student, I seek to honor its tradition while applying its teachings to every day modern life. Whether it is teaching a private session, a group to honor a special occasion or coaching how to live yoga, I would love to connect and support your journey into what I have found to be the life illuminating practice of yoga.
